It’s week 2 and it’s on to another Halloween classic! The movie to enjoy as the Halloween countdown continues involves three witches and a dead man’s toe. Can you guess what I’ll be watching?
That’s right! I’m going to enjoy some Hocus Pocus this week and to pair with it I’ve concocted a lovely tropical punch with a Halloween twist.
Why tropical? Maybe it’s me looking forward to my Galveston Island trip that begins tomorrow and the hope of spending time at the beach. Even though it’s partly a work trip for the Galveston Island Book Festival that’s on Saturday, the man and our baby Dexter the friendly dog will be joining me for a few days of some much needed R&R.
So what are you waiting for? Plan a movie night, grab some snacks, and dig into this delicious recipe below.
It’s just some Hocus Pocus punch!
Hocus Pocus Tropical Punch (Mocktail):
- Pour a little bit of raspberry puree at the bottom of a class
- Add ice cubes
- Fill the rest of the class with part coconut water and part pineapple soda
- Candy corn for garnish

If this cocktail/mocktail doesn’t put a spell on you by the last sip I’ll be surprised.
Enjoy the movie and I hope you’re enjoying this countdown to Halloween as much as I am! If you missed my Pink Uncle Fester recipe from last week and are planning on watching The Addams Family click here.
