The Plano Artfest was last weekend and wow! What an experience. I got to chat with new readers and make some new friends. My day began Saturday, April 27 at 5 AM and we didn’t leave until close to 10 PM. Then we were back at it again at 11am Sunday morning.

It was incredibly toasty, nearing 90 degrees Fahrenheit so it was important to stay both hydrated and caffeinated. I joined forces with the amazing Morgan Meyer (above photo, center) and author CK Larson (above photo, left).
Morgan Meyer is a high-school art teacher as well as a very talented painter. You can follow her and her work on her Instagram here:

CK Larson is the author of Theme Song Panic, a story about a guy who’s worst nightmare is music. More on this book and the author can be found on her website at:

I had a wonderful time meeting Max (photo left), the Dutch artist Aafke (photo right), and Sherry (bottom photo)! I hope all of you enjoy these books and that they will inspire you to follow your dreams.

When she’s not writing, she’s often found either researching or with her nose stuck in a book.
