Summer Solstice
The Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and the height of summer, both in the Human Realm as well as the Fae Realm. It is a day filled with celebration and festivities amongst all communities, but particularly among the species of faeries.
The Summer Solstice Festival is held every year within Pixie Hollow, a forest system located near the city of Aboria, the captiol of the Fae Realm. Pixies from all around the realm come to celebrate with amazing displays of colorful magic, enchanting dances and live music!
The festival is a celebration of the summer solstice and the longest day of light in the Fae Realm. It’s also a chance for the Faen community of all types to come together and share their stories, traditions and music.
A variety of activities are experienced throughout the day, from workshops and talks to performances, art installations, feasts, a marketplace to buy handmade wares and more.
The official dessert of the Summer Solstice Festival was created by the first settlers of Pixie Hollow known as Sunburst Truffles. Nowadays they are made with chocolate and other delicacies – some even include ingredients from the Human Realm as the Rainbow Sunburst Truffles do.
