Folly’s Festival

The Folly Bow

Every April 1st, the Faen community celebrates Folly’s Festival, an annual festival with games, feasts, and other activities designed to bring laughter and joy to the Faen Realm. Though, some fae do take the folly part of the festival literally, with some wild and outrageous pranks being pulled on unsuspecting victims.

One notable prank was by a mischievous Glücksboten who crafted a cursed log that would emit an ear-piercing shriek upon touching it. Though her prank wasn’t taken too kindly by the people of Fae Realm, Folly’s Festival is still celebrated to this day.

The Folly’s Festival begins with the Folly’s Race, a series of practical jokes and obstacles that only the brave strive to conquer. Those who complete the race and are able to thwart, anticipate, and make it through the race unscathed will be celebrated as champions with the Folly’s Bow. It is a green sash made out of pure good luck and secured to the winner with a pin made of dragons gold.

From vampires, shapeshifters, to elementals, it is a holiday enjoyed by all with plenty of fun to go around.
